Hi Everyone!
I'm Gail Dash from Casablanca Kuvasz in southern California and I recently found this forum because I have a google search stored for "kuvasz" and StephyMei1112's post was sent to me. VERY STRANGE!
But I'm glad I've found you. I only have time to be into kuvasz, which I have been since 1986. You can see our dogs and read about us on our site that I built (and it looks like it!). Updating it is on my "to do" list with a zillion other things.
Casablancakuvasz.com
I'm also active in kuvasz rescue and Kuvasz Fanciers of America
I've been a member of our AKC Parent Club, Kuvasz Club of America, since 1987 and I would guess they would say I've been a pain in their ass that long as well. Hey, all they have to do is start serving the breed and the membership and I'll shut up!
I've bred about a litter a year since 1998 and I'd like very much to mentor someone who can take over and I can stop worrying about the future of the breed in North America.
You are welcome to contact me for any kuvasz related questions or discussion, I'm also always up for a good debate but, if you can't cite your sources, you won't win any points with me. :argue:
If anyone is in the San Diego area, we'll be showing at the Cabrillo shows held at Bate's Nut Farm Sept 1&2 and it would be great to meet you.
Looking forward to meeting many new people here!
Gail
