New from MI

Hello, everyone.
I thought I would introduce myself. I've been a lerker on the forum for a while and thought I should probably sign up. I am currently owned by one dalmatian. Thats my boy Ivan in my avatar. With the hopes of adding another in the near furture. We are currently waiting to see if there is a litter on the way. I also have a mixed breed dog, a cat. 3 cockatiels and 2 senegals.

You are right my avatar isn't working, weird.
Peewee is a husky/Shepherd mix. I will have to get some new photos of Peewee. The hubby changed the harddrives and didnt' switch my pictures yet. You can see pictures of Ivan at http://www.highlanddals.com/ivan.htm.

I grew up with Dals, and granted I have switched breeds, but the spotty ones are still one of my favorites.


It is kind of weird that your Dal is named Ivan though....

One of mine was too, but he was a liver.

LOL Oddly enough my Ivan was supposed to BE a liver. His breeder is about 3 and a half hours away from me. And the day my husband and I where headed up there, I told him that his breeder didn't think the liver male was show quality. So I didn't think I was going to be coming home with a puppy. He was like:yikes:WHY are we making this trip then? When I walked into that room, I had NO intention of leaving with a puppy. Well out of 8 puppies, here comes Ivan. I tried to ignore him, he just wasn't want I was looking for, he was the wrong color, and he was too heavly spotted. As you can see, I didn't get what I was looking for but I must have gotten what I needed.
