Say hello to my three new fosters!

These girls were part of a litter of nine puppies found "abandoned in a ditch". They're believed to be Catahoula pups and less than a week old. The litter was split up into to groups of three and went to different foster homes. These girls were due to have someone else pick them up, but the foster never showed, so the foster coordinator called me and asked me if I could take them. As the alternative was them staying overnight at a shelter with no care for almost 20 hours....I couldn't say no. Besides, BABIES.

Now I have more poop than I know what to do with and get to spend every three hours feeding the little buggers, but they're so cute. My lovely husband is being very non-judgmental about me bringing them home. haha

They don't have names yet.

B&T Twin #2, aka "The Pissed Off One"

Had no luck feeding them overnight with the puppy formula, but they took to the homemade Leerburg Puppy Formula really well this morning and have been consistently eating since, so YEY. They're averaging about 15cc a feeding. Weighing them tomorrow at work to see how that stacks up to make sure they're eating enough. Might buy a cheap kitchen scale if I can find one while I'm out today.

Wish these little ones luck. If Abrams doesn't mind them, I think the plan is to keep them until they're adopted. If Abrams doesn't take to them very well, they'll probably go to a new foster home once they're weaned. We'll see!

Awww, sweet babies <3

Good luck with them. I am looking forward to pictures of them as they grow out of the hamster stage :)
