Just wanted to bark up a hello from the still-wintery Chicago area.
We adopted Mabel, a rat terrier, in June 2001 and she's become the love of our lives. I'd post a picture but imageshack seems to have dropped their "Remember Me" function and I can't put my paws on my log-in stuff right now.
We've gotten very involved in rescue and adoption; wish we had even more time for it.
