Hi everyone!I'm new here and new to owning a dog. I adopted a dog from the local humane society. Sassy is a 3 year old collie / collie mix... maybe some german shepherd in her. My home is her 4th. She's lived with a family who had no time for her, and gave her up. Then a military family- i was warned when I adopted her that she does NOT like men in uniform... hmm.. I assume they moved, because she was again given up. Her 3rd owner had an injury and had to give her up.
I have been looking for a dog for years-- never finding quite the 'right' dog... Not necessarily looking for a particular dog- just the one who seemed right. Sassy was it.
Now I will go post some questions! I am open to all advice-but hopefully everyone will be patient with me as I am a NEW dog person!!
