Is it worth paying the extra money for inova Adult? I've got her on EVO right now and she's not taking it so well...

It's either inova adult or canidae. If they're pretty much identical I'll go for the cheaper of the two :)

Where in the world is Innova Adult more expensive than EVO?

Canidae is far cheaper than Innova. We tried one bag just to give my dog variety and we can't wait to switch back to Canidae--it's half the price!

I meant that inova costs more than canidae. would it be worth feeding her inova or would canidae be just as good. I might even be able to keep her on inova once we get her to the vet. I dont think it's the food thats giving her problems. She might have giadria =/

could be just a marketing scheme too... Canidae wasnt THAT much cheaper lol

thanks for your input! I was thinking of timberwolf. but canidae sounds great

Having fed a dog (Virgo) both Innova and Canidae, I have to say that at least for her, I liked her coat better on Innova, but she did just fine on Canidae. I switched her because the feed mill by my grandmother's carries Canidae and it was too far for her to drive to find Innova.

But as always, it's about what works best for your dog. Aubrey has been doing great since switching from Innova to Natural Balance L&R, but Sawyer has just stuck with Innova and done wonderful on it from the get go.

Get the vet results back first before messing with her food.

My results have been the opposite! One of the (several) reasons that we are excited to go back to Canidae is that his coat has really suffered on the Innova adult (green bag).

Which ever works best for your dog is what you should feed. :)

I'm thinking about rotating in a bag of Canidae just for a chance of pace though.

odd how dogs react so differently on different foods.

It seems after feeding EVO, her coat smells more. Also, when i first got the dog 3 weeks ago, she was almost all white. Now she's showing a lot of hints of light tan everywhere. Odd.

That could also be the water you have at your place. Sawyer's white bits start to yellow some if he's been swimming. A quick bath with a whitening/brightening shampoo and he's back to gleaming.
