Finally got my new car all home and fixed up.
I pretty much love it. It's my first time driving a car though. I've only ever driven trucks, vans, and station wagons. And despite what everyone says -- THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. And it's standard, and a lot different than the last standard I drove, which was an old truck, but I'm getting the hang of it. It's all inspected for a year, and we put just under $500 into it. So it's a just under $1000 car, but everyone I talked to at the shop said, "NOW you've got yourself a car."
Only flaw so far is that Dad's boss tried to open the door while it was locked, and dad said he didn't yank on it or anything, but he managed to break the outdoor handle on the door. So it doesn't open from the outside now. But! We have someone looking for the part as we speak, so that should be fixed pretty quickly, cause that'll get old fast. I'll be giving boss man a hard time about THAT for a while.
Overall, I am a very happy girl.
