I mentioned in a couple of previous posts that we were bringing home a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier pup soon. She's home with us today. This is Darby, and she's 9 weeks old.
Darby survived our 5 hour drive home just fine, and has been very quiet so far. I expected a wild out of control puppy, but thus far she's content to nose around a bit then relax on the floor. I think she's a bit unsure of her new surroundings.
We tried to feed her a couple of hours after we got here (food from the breeder that she was used to) and she poked at it a bit and ate a couple of pieces, but not much. Is that normal?
