I have 5 month havanese about 20 lbs and i wanted to know how it would cost to get him nuetered.

Well that varies from country to country and area to area. I can't possibly tell you how much you will pay. Call the vets in your area and also the shelters for a decent price.

I would check with his vet... I like to keep all my records with one clinic. I would say about $100.at the most for that size.

cost varies widely between different countries and in the US there are programs where you may even qualify for a free neutering surgery for your dog, depending on your income.

300.00, is terrible... Hell, I would do it (if you lived in Reno) for free. That is way out there. Keep checking, even Humane Soc. That is awful. I agree to get him neutered, but that cost is unreasonable. I have had to neuter some animals (hate it).... At my animal shows in Atlanta, we had a great vet. Theme parks (all over) have a large population of feral cats. We would "befriend" them, give them a shot to sleep and then our vet would neuter them for free...A great guy..... After awhile we would do it under his supervision, kinda grosses me out. By the way, rabbits have really big nads....ha-ha. Anyway, it should not cost you anymore than 40 to 70 dollars, even cheaper at some other places. Good luck

check around for other vets. That's too much for a neuter, and that vet will probably overcharge you for everything.

$300. WHOA!!!! that's pricy!!
I'm taking my little fellow to the vet tomorrow to be neutered my vet charges $65. apparently size doesn't matter here in my neck of the woods (KY)!!!
The vet neutered my brother-n-laws mixed dobe/rot and it was the same price as he's charging for my little guy!!! (Jack Russell)

my vet charges $100, but the local shelter charges $50.
