Hey everyone!

As many of you know from my last thread Hannah and I are enrolling in obedience classes. I found this really awesome place about an hour away that charges 7 weeks for $95. Down fall was that I missed this session so I will have to wait until August.

Well the other day I was looking through the magazine I get every year from the community college of courses they are having for the summer. To my surprise they have obedience training. Seven weeks for $75 and they start next month. Another bonus is that its 10 minutes from my apartment.

I'm a little leery though with the price being so cheap amongst other things. So anyone have any opinions? If I decide to go with the college I will have to register within the next day or so if I hope to get a spot.

Is there any way you could talk to the trainer at the CC before you register??

If it were me, honestly, I'd go with the CC and be prepared to do the class in August as well. Both classes are relatively cheap, and it's always good practice to re-take a class even if your dog sorta knows the behaviors already. I took about 3 or 4 beginner classes with my dog, and I learned something new every time!

Thanks for the quick response Lizzy!

I registered Hannah for the class so we start in July! I guess it would be better to find out how she's going to react with the cheaper classes. It would really stink to wait until August, pay the extra money and spend more on gas just for them to tell me that group classes are not going to be for her.
