Fskajifo3ejnf Idiot Dog. Neighbor found him out in his fields. He is COVERED in burrs and caked in mud. So many burrs that his feet are bleeding. We're having to cut out a lot of them and try to rake out as many as possible. Looks like that will be a task that takes a couple hours at least.

He seems very pleased with himself though. Wonder what he was up to these last 2 hours....

He was really far from the house. They only have one neighbor and it's a hike getting to his place. They had gone over there earlier and asked if the neighbor had seen him but the neighbor didn't find him for another hour. We were all pretty certain a coyote had taken him.

Sigh. Glad he's back.

That is wonderful news!!! Thank goodness he is safe, and now we can laugh at him LOL Crazy boy.

Time to get him cleaned up and then smother him with affection <3

Dogs... I swear... They know how to give you a near heart attack.

We are very relieved though. Poor Josie is still really upset/guilty.

I still wonder if he chased something or what made him decide to go off that far away. Sometimes you have to actually shoo him off the porch to go potty. There's even been a few times where I've taken my two and Rose tags along and Beau hangs out at the porch.

SO glad he's back!

Rose darted off one day due to a thunderstorm approaching and whoever let her outside not paying attention. We drove around EVERYWHERE trying to find her with no luck. Searched for a LONG time, hollered for her, nothing...she was gone all that day and night. The next morning she still wasn't home and I was pretty sure she had gotten hit, or bolted so far she got confused and couldn't find her way home. She was old, going deaf/blind, looked like crap, wearing a collar but no idea...even if someone had found her, I don't think they would have thought she was owned.

As I was leaving for work, here comes Rose, trotting up the field, covered in burrs, and happy as can be as if nothing was wrong.

I never want to feel that feeling ever again, so I can totally understand how you felt. So glad he's home safe.
