Need Help Naming Our New Pup!

Can anyone help me? My fiance and I are stumped on what to call our baby. We dont have her yet, she'll be ready on Feb. 8th, but the lady who has her is going to start calling her by name for us and we just have no clue what to call her! We want something unique and/or unusual. The puppy is a female chocolate toy poodle, she's the one on the left in my avatar and she's 4wks old in that pic, she'll be much fluffier soon lol. She's got greenish blue eyes, hazel I guess, and a light brown nose. We were going to call her Jade cause of the green eyes but then my fiance said he didnt want that so we said we liked Kahlua because she looks like the color of it. Now our families dont like that name so we're stumped! Can anyone give us some cute and unique names for her? We'd definitely appreciate it!

I looked up Jade in spanish but it was the same. that's not good!

I don't know, she looks like a Suzi Q or Maggie to me. When I try to name my pets, I like to see them in our home for a few days to see their personality to decide on the name.

I usually do the same thing, Avenlee. The Filas are easier to name ahead of time since I have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the breed and the breed lines. Charley always has a name thought up ahead of time though. Gotta admit he's been good at getting the names right though. Shiva (the Great Destroyer); Buffy (the Slayer - she had a very classic hard temperament) . . .

I chose Kharma - she's as close in blood as I could get to having a pup from my Buffy, and she's very like her aunt/half-sister Buffy in so many ways. The humor of the name hit Charley one evening when he'd gotten after her for something and she'd stopped the naughtiness immediately, then came right to him when he called her. He had no more gotten the words, "Good Kharma" out of his mouth than he cracked up. Of course, there are times when she's Bad Kharma, and she's very, very quick - Instant Kharma . . .

Thanks guys, all of those are really good names! But we finally decided on a name and we're sticking with Jade. Her eyes have gotten to be a deep green so it fits her perfectly. I'll post pics soon! Thanks again

Thanks! Her eyes are really pretty, thats what made me fall in love with her! I've always wanted a chocolate puppy, especially one with green eyes and a lil light brown nose. hehe.

Believe it or not when I first got knuckles I named him Rico...lol oh boy. After a while I still wasnt really feeling that name so then we changed it Knuckles for some reason.

Well sometimes the pups can named them selfs. You could wait for a while and see what names comes to you.
