thats because the maltipoo is NOT a breed, and the ONLY breeders youll find breeding these dogs are backyard breeders who dont deserve the money you would be spending on the puppy. they are NOT hybrids, they are not a breed, they are your friendly neighbourhood mutts. if your dead set on that particular mix, go check out your local shelter. theres 3 5month old malteese poodle mixes sitting in the shelter by me right now.

if you want to get a puppy from a breeder, you need to pick a single breed, a developed breed and the people on this bored will HAPPILY help you find a wonderfull breeder for that breed of choice,
but i dont think theres ANYONE here that would help you support a backyard breeder and as i said, those and puppymills are the only places willingly breeding these poor "designer" mutts, while others just like them are sitting cold and lonley in a shelter.

She wrote you the truth. Makes her blunt, nothing more. You need to do research because you apparently haven't a clue right now.

It's true...she's just trying to help you and educate you on the problems of buying a puppy from a back yard breeder. She's not trying to be unkind to you at all. We all care about animals on here and what's best for them.

When I first joined this forum I had no idea about those issues either.

A Maltipoo is not a breed, its a mutt. You wont find ANY reputable mutt breeders around for a Maltipoo.. You may find some lovely puppy mills though?

Have you considered a Maltese OR a poodle?

WOOT im a bitch, GO ME! i think thats the first time EVER on a forum ive been called such...not bad for a shy submissive person right?!

just a shame that obviously this person didnt come here to learn, instead came here for a quick link to a byb or puppymill.
See its funny that, i may be a bitch, but only when the answer doesnt suit your needs...strange how human nature works, dont get the answer your looking for, lets aim the guns at those telling the truth...but quite honestly i dont see a single part of my post that was "bitch like" in any way...

oh well, its not the first shot and it wont be the last.
*aims cannons* just remember, MY guns are bigger!

Hello Tamara, after reading thru everyone's posts I think it's appropriate to refer you to Dakotawinds.com. This is the type of breeder you are looking for and they will have plenty of small black mixed breed puppies for you to chose from. While reviewing this site, please also look up the Hunte corporation, Petlove Pet store in Los Angeles and USDA puppymills and brokers. It will then educate you on why you were advised not to support someone selling these types of puppies. People are quite passionate about their breeds here, many owning both Poodles and Maltese. There are also others who come here with horror stories about the experiences they've had with a backyard breeder. Your knee-jerk response, (to call someone a "bitch") indicates that you are very young. So, I am hoping you simply don't know any better, will keep an open mind and consider doing some research on the 4 referances I made. You willl then be better informed about where to find your ideal puppy. Good luck.

*grins*, now if it were only legal to fire my ACTUAL cannons up lol.

now heres something i DONT understand

that is the "maltipoo"

and theres a poodle...

is it me or do the 2 breeds look almost identical, what the heck is sooo wrong with owning a poodle that we as a race feel the need to mix in other breeds to produce a dog that LOOKS like a poodle, ACTS like a poodle (form what ive seen thier personalities are almost identical) and is essentially a poodle with a new name?!

mixing the maltese in with a poodle does absolutly NOTHING! i can forgive if a a mix has been used for a purpose (ie farmers purposely mixing breeds to get the best working dogs for them, though i dont condone it, or the assie labradoodle was originally started with good intentions for a purpose) but to create a mutt that looks, acts and is essentially the same breed as one thats already around?! is there HONESTLY a point?

serioulsy OP, just do yourself a favour buy a black poodle, and dont shave it into a poodle cut and tada...a "maltipoo" youll probably save yourself a good $500 by buying a well bred poodle, not to menation the health care savings. ive seen black toy poodles around the $500-$800 mark, maltipoos in the shelter $50-$100 and maltipoos from a "Breeder" $1000-$1600...

big difference there dont ya think?!

Hey hey hey!!! Being a bitch can be all a woman has sometimes. :D I think dog people don't tend to consider bitch an insult anyways. The best looking and smartest lady in my house is a true bitch.

If you want mutts, buy mutts, but do it from the shelter or local rescue. Call it whatever cute "breed" name you want. Black, hairy dogs are the hardest to place, so I'm sure you'll find plenty. :)

Wow! That was the most rude thing I have ever seen on here. Tamara, all she was trying to do is help you out by telling you the truth! If you find anyone that would actually point you in the direction of someone who breeds MUTTS for money they should be shot.

You should be extremely ashamed of yourself for being that rude to someone trying to help you.

I for one don't think you even deserve a dog with an attitude like that.
