Need advice!

We just got a new dog a couple of weeks ago he is 11 months old and we uses the bathroom whenever we take him out but during the night he poops on the floor what should i do?

Crate train him or place him somewhere like the laundry room with the entrance gated so he cant get out and have a place in there for him to go. Believe it or not small dogs will actually use a litter box.

Unless you want your dog to go in a litter box for the rest of his life..dont even start it. It sounds like he'd doing great though...Cant you take him out in the middle of the night?

Or you could crate him at night...but if he needs to go out you still need to take him. Are you feeding him RIGHT before bed?

Get a paper route and take the puppy with you. That's what I did with my first dog. At night he would get to meet all my fellow carriers then he would just lay down and sleep on the front seat of my car untill I was done with my route. Then during the day I would go to bed and I left my mom and brother do potty duty. I never needed a crate.
