I just moved into a new apartment complex about 5 weeks ago and the second day I was here a cat had kittens right outside my apartment. Initially I put her on my back porch but she kept jumping off (I live on the second floor) and I kept having to go find her so I bought a huge dog cage and she is living in it for now. I took her to the vet today and he suggested that she needs some more food than she's getting and I would like advice on what to feed her. She is between 10 months and 1 year old and only weighs 6.1 pounds. I have been free feeding her Innova Evo Cat & Kitten and recently started feeding her about 1/4 can of Wellness grain-free canned food (mainly it was for the kittens but she loves it too). Of course he wanted her on Science Diet but no thanks. I want to feed her a grain-free diet and was wondering if I should stick with what she's eating or switch her to a raw diet, Wellness grain-free, or some other brand. Any suggestions are welcome!

Also, I already have a 7 month old kitten, Isabel, that absolutely freaks out whenever she comes in contact with Annabel (the momma cat). I keep them separate but on at least 4 occasions my 3 year old has let one of them out and Isabel goes ballistic. She hisses and spits, you name it. Annabel just stares at her like Isabel is a complete idiot. Isabel is great with our dog but she is a bit nasty to humans so she has a weird personality as it is. I heard about adding some kind of flower essence to her water to calm her down, has anyone tried this? Eventually they have to get along, I can't keep Annabel in the cage forever.
