Nedim:
What was she like when you got home from school today? Where'd she stay and what did she do while you were gone? My day just got off on a GREAT start... jumped out of bed, my left foot was asleep, and as soon as I hit the floor I snapped my ankle! Sprained and can't flex it at all. Then I come home from work just a bit ago and I had decided to keep Hunter out in the beautiful weather. Only to find he'd dug a HUGE trench under the gate and was out and COVERED in MUD!!! GRRRRR!!!!!! And now he's got a problem with his butt/tail/backend. Can't get comfortable and groans with pain. I don't know what to do!!!!

Sorry to hear about your day, elinhunter. Sounds rough. When I awoke and greeted her, she was very happy to see me. She jumped up and started licking my hand.Peanut stayed in the house today. She was actually pretty good, and aside from "flooding" my kitchen, everything went ok. I left her toys that we play with so she would feel a little more at home. We actually just came inside after a long day outside. I wanted to get her tired so she wouldnt have another accident. She is housetrained, but shes new, and accidents DO happen. Oh, yeah she actually played with the neighbors pit today. Looks like she has a new friend.

COOL! Was she unsupervised while at home alone and she potted in the house? Don't think she's just being bad or whatever, My rescuues always do that at first to mark their territory that THIS IS THEIRS! Then they never do it again...

I'm so happy to hear everthing is going so well with Peanut. So she has a pitbull for a friend. You'll have to get a pic of them playing and show us.

Hey everyone! I went to petsmart today and picked up a bed, treats, shampoo, and some denta stuff for peanut. I also got her a dog tag and a few other knick-knacks. Tomorrow at 8:00, she is scheduled to: be washed, get her haircut, nails clipped, ears cleaned, and all for $20-$40. I'd say thats a pretty good deal. Well, I'm heading outside with peanut in a little while to walk her. I'll bring a camera and I'll upload the pics.

Will do. I have a question that I forgot to ask earlier. Peanut threw up some white stuff this morning on our first walk. Shes also breathing weird and seems sorta skittish. Anything to worry about?

How quickly were you walking? Because of her size, she won't be able to walk as fast as a larger dog. Especially with stubbier legs.

She might be just a bit nervous or something. Take it easy with her at first. Did she eat grass? Sometime a dog will eat grass to cause them to throw up -- sometimes just a foam -- to make their tummy feel better...

Shell get into anything, so I'm thinking grass is not an exception. It was a white foam type "substance" so I wont worry about it TOO much. As for the walking, its her pulling me most of the time.
