Is NV changing their Prairie canned food line or something? On their website there's the Prairie line that has grains and then an Instinct line that is grain free, but if you look at some of the online stores that carry NV, there's a 95% meat Prairie canned food that isn't listed on the official NV website.

I'm kinda confused now. Was there once a 95% Prairie canned food that isn't there anymore? Did they change the name of the old 95% meat Prairie line to Instinct, and then make a new Prairie line that has grains? Because the NV website doesn't even mention a 95% meat Prairie line; only the Instinct canned food has 95% meat.

Can anyone who feeds NV clear this up for me? I'd like to add another 95% meat canned food for variety, but I'm a little lost on NV's products.

NV has only Instinct canned foods now, that I am aware of, at least. I know that two of the places that I buy from regularly had a huge sale on the old lines of Prarie.

Nature's Variety has three lines of canned food for dogs:

Instinct
Prairie
Homestyle (which is also part of Prairie)

Either the 95% meat Prairie line doesn't exist anymore, or it is now called Instinct. I don't remember the 95% Prairie so I can't compare the ingredients.

I also noticed the sale on the Prairie lines and I believe they reformulated Prairie and changed the labeling. As a result, they are trying to clear the shelves of the old stuff as fast as possible.

Yeah, they must have changed the line to instinct and then reformulated the old line. That would explain the sale on all the NV Prairie cans.

Yes, all of the 95% meat Prarie cans are being changed to Instinct.
