You aren't supposed to go all out. A pair of khaki pants and a nice shirt is fine. If I were to come all dressed in a skirt suit, I'd look like an idiot. Besides, there's no way I'd waste a clean suit on that event when I could wear it to a dog show.
My mom would come.. but she doesn't wear anything but stretch jog pants.. and well, I try to avoid bringing her out in public, specially around my teachers. My dad most likely wouldn't waste his time on me.
Its not for a few weeks, so I have time to go out and buy one pair of khaki pants. It's not a huge deall.. you can get them at a Goodwill for less than $5.

Glad you can find stuff there...i never have any luck...nothing ever fits me right.
