You aren't supposed to go all out. A pair of khaki pants and a nice shirt is fine. If I were to come all dressed in a skirt suit, I'd look like an idiot. Besides, there's no way I'd waste a clean suit on that event when I could wear it to a dog show.

My mom would come.. but she doesn't wear anything but stretch jog pants.. and well, I try to avoid bringing her out in public, specially around my teachers. My dad most likely wouldn't waste his time on me.

Its not for a few weeks, so I have time to go out and buy one pair of khaki pants. It's not a huge deall.. you can get them at a Goodwill for less than $5. :D
ooh, ahha, i see your point about the skirt suit then. I couldnt remember what i wore.

Haha, maybe you should pick your mom up a pair of pants at Goodwill while you are at it!!

Glad you can find stuff there...i never have any luck...nothing ever fits me right.

Glad you got in, Tessa! It does look good on your college apps.

They didn't even tell me I was nominated. The inductions were done at an assembly with the whole school and the parents were sitting in the balcony bleachers. I knew ahead of time because my Mom told me and threatened me with serious bodily harm if I didn't go quietly and not embarrass her when I was "tapped." ;)
