nails?

I am happy to report that Maddie's nails are getting shorter and shorter. I clipped them every other week, and now I'm clipping a little bit more off every week. They getting a lot shorter, and I really like it! She likes to run around like she does after a bath, when I clip them. It's funny!

When I get them to a length that I love I'll post pics. Missy will be my next project!

i clip my dogs' nails every two weeks and they are definitely not as short as any of your dogs'.

Are you just snipping into the quick a teeny bit every time you clip, or what? Blossom is a horrid monster to do her nails, I would love to get them a lot shorter.

My dog used to have really long quicks, so I just tried to clip them at least once a week, very short but not to the quick (try to never cut into the quick, it's very painful). Then we'd go on at least one or two walks on the sidewalk to wear them down more, and gradually the quicks got shorter and shorter. You have to be dilligent about it, though, and keep it up for several weeks before you see significant improvement.

All of their back nails are that short, but some of their front nails are long, cause its hard to trim them! (Daggett and Brad have to go to the vets to get their nails trimmed EVERYTIME, so they get done once a month.

I dremel my dogs. We used to clip, but that never got them short enough for my liking.

I want to use the dremel on Maddie so bad... but its like impossible! and of course she's the dog who lets me do it without any training/getting used to it.
And that hose trick - doesn't work! lol. Too Much Hair!
