My dog loves Nabisco wheat thins and I give them to her as a treat. I don't know if these are okay or if I should try to find an alternative. She loves all kinds of human crackers and I'd love to find a dog biscuit that she loves as much but haven't been able to find any that she just goes nuts for.

Nutrition Facts
INGREDIENTS:
Enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2), folic acid, whole wheat flour, vegetable shortening (partially hydrogenated soybean oil) rolled oats, sugar, high fructose corn syrup...

Does anybody know of a specific dog treat that I could use to substitute? So far she is not crazy for any dog treats and only really eats them if there is competition in the house. These she will gobble and beg for more.

I don't think wheat thins are that great for us or for dogs, but a wheat thin a day isn't going to kill her. The trans fat in them isn't great either. Just be aware that wheat is a very common allergen for dogs, so if she starts showing signs of sensitivities then you may want to cancel out the crackers!

Also, have you tried Canidae snap biscuits http://www.canidae.com/treats/snap-biscuits/original.html ? I think they smell amazing and my dogs go crazy for them. Just a thought :)

Thank you. I'm thinking I'm going to switch both the puppy and my senior over to Canidae so I'll look for those when I go to the store. I'd love to find a dog treat that she would get excited about like these darn wheat thins.
