Mystic River... Two Thumbs Up!!

I finally watched this movie the other night and have seen it twice since. It is wonderful. But, any thing with Sean Penn is great. He's such a wonderful actor. Has anyone else seen it? Did you like it?

Yeah I liked it. It was such an interesting story. Kind of sad...

It is very sad. Especially for Dave and Jimmy. Because Dave had that happen when he was young, then happened to him in the end. And the whole thing is sad for Jimmy, because of what the movie is based around.
All in all, it was incredibly put together, piecing all the stories together like that. But, like I said, I love all movies with Sean Penn. Yes, even "High Times at Ridgemont High."

Oh, I know. One thing though: I kept having to rewind to hear them speak some stuff again because of that heavy Boston, Mass. accent! I was like, what??

Very good movie. Sad but it does show how the mind works sometimes.

That is one of my all time favorite movies. I read the book first and it is one of the rare times that the movie is just as good as the book. They did such a good job picking the actors, they were perfect for their characters. I agree - Sean Penn is awesome, he is one of the best actors of our time. Excellent movie!!

I LOVED that movie. What a great plot... I plan on reading more of the authors novels as well.
