All so pretty, and so many ferrets! My husband won't let me have any more than 3 at a time :p
TY :) 3 ferrets or 3 pets? Its real difficult to have so many, we used to have 18 (RIP to my not so forgotten 5!) We rescue from locals who can no longer properly take care of them

Looooove Glacier :) I have the biggest soft spot for deaf dogs.
TY :) I have the biggest soft spot for any dogs with special needs :) All of our dogs have behavioral/physical demands.

3 ferrets at a time. I've got 7 animals altogether (2 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 ferrets). The way I see it, taking care of 3 ferrets is the same as taking care of 4 or 5 or 10ish right? :p

Vet care costs a fortune though, so I can understand the reasoning. I spend about $100 a month on meds for the ferrets (2 adrenal, 1 of those with insulinoma too), and just spent another $200 today when my insulinomic ferret crashed. Thankfully my vet stayed after hours and we were able to save him.

I'm sorry about those that you've lost. Milkshake was beautiful. I've always had a soft spot for panda's and blaze's. It's amazing what a hold they have on your heart. I still mourn over losing 1 back in February.

:D hooray, pics! :p
What a cute crew! I love all of their names, they seem very fitting!
wow, I can't imagine how much fun (and work) that many ferrets would be. our 2 can be a hilarious handful, at times! They keep me on my toes, and keep the dogs entertained as well :D I've never worked with a deaf dog (my Izzy is deaf, however) but I'm starting to get a real soft spot for the blind dogs (my foster Tara is blind. Don't know yet if its permanent)
I love Milkshake's coloring - I also have a soft spot for pandas and blazes... and rescuing!!

Harvick looks shepherd-ish to me, in the face. Cute name :)

13 is like taking care of a pack of wild weasels lol. We have to watch more between the two of us and if one runs off and gets loose thats it! haha

We rescued one that someone found in their neighbors yard and just by looking at her you could tell it was adrenal :( we kept her and did 3 separate implants and she lived months with us and had our others to play with, she got severely aggressive (latching onto my thigh or arm while just sitting there) and lost all her hair and started getting too thin so we had to let her go :( My heart goes out to you. We have not dealt with insulinoma but do have ECE in the pack so we do vitamin C and have fluids on hand (as long as they stay hydrated they tend to overcome it no probs!)

Its hard to see but milkshake got his name by his coloration, our vet took pics of him to put in the books cuz he has never seen it before. The patch of brown behind his ear actually goes up over his ear and around one of his eyes. Unfortunately we lost him due to unknown problems and could not afford the necropsy :( He was just about 1 yr old..had a jaw issue too...could not open it all the way, definitely genetic mutation, Marshall Farms is not that great ;)

Whew sorry for the long rant!

I only have one pure bred chi. Wish I had more. They are addicting.

That is my boy Truffles. That pic was taken when he was 9 weeks old. He is now 9 months. :)
