My sister and I went to the dog park today, just me and her and her dogs (she has a lot of them, I think 15 or 18? But we just brought her 3 shelties and her pointer). Anyway, she told me he two female shelties were pregnant, so was her pointer, her malamute, her labrador, her golden retriever, her chow chow, and her two akitas!!! :yikes::yikes:

Seriously! She said it was somewhat planned, but she didn't mean for it to happen quite yet since she hasn't had a chance to show any of her dogs but her shelties and her one akita. I can't remember their full names and titles off my head but they are pretty good dogs. -_-

Anyway, she offered me a puppy and I said I'll think about it. She is in the line of migraine fire. -.- My mom bred our border collie when I was 7. She died after giving birth to 8 border collie x rottie/mastiff cross and her puppies died slowly one by one after that.

Bitch at her, and tell her that she better find good homes for all the puppies instead of dumping them in animal shelters, or you'll kill her dead D<

So she's going to have 100-odd randomly mixed puppies? Tell her to do herself and her bitches a favor and go get them all a mis-mate shot if possible or at least do a spay/abortion. There's no way on this earth that is going to turn out well.

OMG!!! Thats like... 50 to 100 puppies if they all live! I agree with what Zoom suggested. Their is NO way she will be able to care for such a burden! Does she realise how many puppies are in the shelters already? Does she understand that the world DOES NOT need another iresponsible breeder? Stuff like this ticks me off so freaking much! I cannot beleive the stupidity of some people.

For your information, I am NOT a troll. -.- But thank you oh so very much.

My sister is insane. And, all but one of the dogs are purebred. -.- She bred them with some people she met at a dog park. Her pointer got out and is pregnant with god knows what breed's puppies. And I yelled at her, and she REFUSED to talk to me and called ME a brat. I've heard her story hundreds of times. Obviously SHE was the innocent victim of impatient people that just want puppies and money. (sarcasm on the her being innocent)

Zife, I am sorry, but if my sister did that (which most know Muggie'sMum would NEVER do) I would dis-own her, then call the SPCA. Or steel her dogs, but that's just me.

Sorry you've got brought into this, but I say you get yourself out - FAST.

Prove to your sister that you were right, so that when she gets those 100 pups, and can't care for them, and they are all slowly getting sick or dying, she will know she couldn't handle it, only then would I offer my help.

Is there a law as to how many dogs you can have where you live?

Call the HS, AC, SPCA, anything. Are her dogs keep in bad conditions?

That's simply bizarre . . . I'd say that no one is that crazy, but whenever I think I've seen the worst of people, I'm always disappointed . . . .

I know you don't want to get your sister in trouble (that leads to trouble with the whole family) but I would strongly suggest having those puppies aborted (especially the ones of totally unknown parentage) and telling your sister strongly that this must STOP or you will report it. That's just nuts. That's too many dogs, too many large dogs, from too many breedings, all at once . . .unless she owns a farm and has some help, that's just not possible to do in any responsible way, even if the breedings were well advised, which none of these sound like.

But WHY is she doing this ??? For money ??? I know the time involved with one litter to produce well socialized , healthy , happy pups . She's doing no one any good . Especially the pups .

I would abort them. Sometimes you wish the worst would happen so that the people would learn a lesson but unfortunately that would mean pain for the dogs or puppies :( So I just hope she will abort the puppies and then give her dogs to someone who is responsible.

Maxy , sadly I agree . For newbies here .... I had a petsitter who let my female in heat Golden out and she was bred with either her father or brother and didn't tell me . I could not let this litter be whelped for the sake of the Golden breed .....it was hard on me emotionally and financially . She wasn't due for a planned breeding for another year . I just couldn't let an unplanned and possibly a screwed up litter into the world . This happened years ago , but it still bothers me .

I just don't know WHAT to do. If I reported her she'd have my head off an my brother would freak on me. I'm going to call her, and we're going to talk it out.

I want to try and see if there's a chance I can get her to abort at least one of the litters, because I know she couldn't give it up to me. I love her and I don't want to tear her up, so I'm going to try and play it nice.

I'll maybe ask her if she could come to my new place I just purchased (it'd be a small farm) and drop off two or three of the dogs and surrender the rest to the shelter. It's going to be so hard on her but I think if I'm nice to her she'll be reasonable.

Wish me luck, I'll keep you guys updated.
