So Maggie and Tucker both have new spring trims. And so that also means we trimmed the hair down on their ears. After trimming Maggies left ear I notice a hot spot that she has scratched alot. I have been medicating her ear with hot spot meds and something to fight infection and to keep it less sore and itchy. But she is still scratching at her ear. And yes I keep up on the cleaning of her ears. So im just wondering what can i do to maybe stop her from injuring her ear farther? I wish I had something to put over the sore but I figure she would just scratch it off...Any ideas? And yes I will be calling the vet tomarow.

You could try the e-collar (lamp-shade collar)

Poor Maggie...:( Hope she feels better soon.

Hope maggie gets better soon! anyway, as lizmo said, an e-collar would most likely work and should be effective.

Poor girl! :( I hope she'll be feeling better soon!
I was going to suggest an e-collar too.
