I am so excited, I went off to buy my wetsuit on Saturday. Here it is, it is a semi dry suit which means it has seals that control how much water enters the suit, it makes a mixture of air and water that keeps you alot warmer.
Our waters here are VERY cold so it means I will use less air and be able to stay down longer.

Here it is with the booties.

Picture of the hood. It is a nice size hood with seals around the edge which helps with mask leakage.

Thats a pretty cool setup, I hadent seen those before.

Next summer I hope to get a dry suit and start doing day trips on some more challenging rivers then Im used to floating with my big raft. BD or NG wont be going on those trips and I did finaly get a life vest.

While I wont be doing any scuba or snorkling that is still a cool setup you got there

Hey Blue, that is so cool, apparently the dry suits are really hard to master. I would love to go for one, but at the mo I am sticking to the semi dry, I am still a HUGE novice. I would love to see pics of your trip!

I wouldn'g laugh, I bought my first wetsuit from a thrift store. It serve me well, that one was for surfing so it was alot thinner than this baby.
Just one question, how did you manage to move in neoprene?
