aww! He looks like my Chubs! (he is one of my kittens, my cat had kittens. And they are orange like your little guy!!) I like the name Sammy too! 
My friend's orange kitty is named Sammy too. Oh yes, and if you want an all cat site, and need help with the little guy, I mean Chaz is a good forum, but theres no harm in two forums!

I definitely like Rex. You could get him a leather collar with teensie little studs and put a sign on your door saying "Beware of Rex." Hehe!
He's really a cutie though. *want an orange Kitteh* Oh well. Someday. I've got one that's half-orange, I guess that counts. I would suggest you hide that vase--and anything like it--until he gets a lil' older. We attempter to kitten-proof our house while they were young, and they still got stuff.
