Here are my mom's dogs... The bad thing is that she was very uneducated about dogs and made some poor decisions. However, these dogs are her life, and she LOVES them, and they LOVE her back. So she's been lucky in spite of the mistakes. Also, they are absolutely adorable and cuddly...

Here is Pepe, the oldest. He was from a pet shop...

Then, she actually lent him out as a stud to some random person she met on the street :yikes: . Well, one of the products of that litter was her baby Toto.

Then she actually lent Pepe out as a stud AGAIN! That time she wound up with Mimi (who really doesn't look very Maltesish if you ask me)

Well, she knows better now, and the boys are neutered. She hasn't spayed Mimi, but she will not breed her. And there is no chance of an accidental pregnancy, because she never is off my mom's property. (I think she should be spayed anyway, but my mom doesn't want to...)

OMG!!! they are beautiful ;) Thanks for sharing them with us, I really wanted to meet them....Mimi does look like a maltese to me. It is just her coat that is different, maybe thats why you think she doesn't look like one. I thought that all maltese come with silky coats, but after reading more about them, meeting lots of maltese owners and stuff, I realized that some of them have silky coat, others have more like a cotton coat. Some have soft hair others hair is more think...etc.

From the pictures, I can tell how your mum loves them ;) even if she made a mistake by breeding Pepe.
