I may not be on as much. My little girl is very sick, it just started this evening. She's really clingy and grumpy right now with a bad fever. I might end up taking her to the hospital tonight if her medicine doesn't work, or the doctor's tomorrow in the afternoon. The poor little girl, I feel so bad for her I've just been snuggling her and helping her drink her juice. She ate some chicken soup earlier so maybe that will help her.

she's sleeping in my bed, for now. I'm sure she'll probably throw up agian and I want to keep her by me. She's got a doctor's appointment tomorrow in the afternoon, so he'll probably tell me it's the flu and send us home. She's so snuggly when she's sick though, it's the only time she'll stop to cuddle with me. She even wanted to give me a kiss when I was snuggling with her to get her to go to sleep tonight, and she gave me a big hug. She's SO cute!

Thanks! She's still awake, well I should say she has woken up. She is laying on me and watching me on the computer. She is really warm and I can't give her anything since she just had medicine. I called her doctor but he said just to not give her anything else until the medicine label says. She's so sick, I feel so bad for her. I'm going to try laying down with her and seeing if she will go back to sleep. Hubby is working overtime agian, unfortunetely, so I hope she doesn't get too sick and he can help me some when he gets home. I'm so worried about her.

Aw Julie,, I feel for you !! Having 3 kids, it's such a worry when they're sick. My 2nd one, Jan, was prone for croop .... It was horrible to tent her over a sink with hot water in the '60s !!! I quess that's why we get grey !!!

Well, she's still sick today. She has become my little lap baby. She doesn't want her daddy, just me. Me and her ended up sleeping out on the couch last night because she got up when my husband came home and I didn't want her to keep him from sleeping. I think me and her both had the best nights sleep we've had in a long time.

How old is your little one? What did the Dr. say, did you go today? It seems so long ago since ours were little and sick, it is just a sad thing and scary. I did want to mention when our little girl had a high fever we put her in the bath tub with luke warm water and sponged her off trying to get her temperature to either come down or break. Alot of times that worked. Good luck.

she's 19 months old. Yeah we went and all he said was yeah she has the flu. So basically we just are giving her juice, and whatever food she will eat, and the infant's tylenol.

Julie ~ Sorry to hear that your little one is sick! I sure hope she's feeling better soon. I have a 19 month old daughter too and when she's sick we give her pedialyte or the pedialyte pops. I also give my girls infant motrin (it lasts up to 8hrs and then if you need to you can give tylenol in between too). That's what our Dr. told us to do to keep fevers down. If the temp is REALLY high, luke warm bath like previous poster said. If it's not real high though, I wouldn't suggest it b/c it can and will actually give them chills and then they will feel worse. Our Dr. told us that too.

Hope this helps. Give you little angel baby kisses!

Jamie

I'm sorry to hear she's sick. Maggie had a stomach virus last year and was the same way. Laid on me for days and would have noone else. And she wouldn't hardly eat anything. I know what you're going through, it's gotta be rough. Maggie would eat dry cereal better than anything else.

She's been eating toast and the plain saltine crackers. I've been giving her water and juice and some milk too. She actually went to bed early for me tonight (on my bed agian) but atleast she's sleeping.

Well I think she is starting to get over it today, atleast enough to give me a run for my money before her naptime. Now she's passed out on the couch (which is where she chose to fall asleep and I don't want to move her). If she wakes up she'll never go back to sleep.
