Funny - I've found that wiggly humans and animals are what it is best for . . . . I use the long lens and can get the candid shots because they forget I'm around. Plus, the autofocus on it is quicker than most - quicker than I can focus manually most of the time.
I've set it on manual and twiddled with the lighting and sets and all, but when I've got moving things to shoot the auto is just so much more satisfactory. It took me a little bit of practice to get a feel for the sweet spot for the auto focus, but once I found it things got easy.
And then I found out that those wrestling action shots that I'd been in despair over and burned so much film learning to get . . . the ones the other photographers were using were posed.
But mine were the real deal, lol.
