I am looking for Rudy a permanent home. He is a 3 1/2 year old English Mastiff. I rescued him about 2 months ago and I am looking for a forever home for him.

The new owner(s) will have to be Alpha. He is a great dog with people and kids but is and can be aggressive with male dogs. He is NOT good with small dogs so if you have one and is interested, please dont bother.

He was rescued from his owner because of a divorce situation. He came to me with no manners at all. He is good on a lead with me and my friend. She walks him as much as I do.

He is house broken, but I have yet to find a crate large enough for him. He is an inside dog and I want him in a home that will keep him inside. We are in Texas and you know it is HOT! here lol. If anyone decides to take Rudy, you will have to sign a contract with is breeder. If you have any questions for me about Rudy or you are interested, dont hesitate to email me. If you do, I will send you my number and we can talk.

Rudy sounds like a great dog, especially for a single person :) In case anyone's wondering, Mastiffs tend to take to women easily and are a perfect companion for a single woman. They are the easiest house dogs ever. When you're not there, the couch (or any comfy spot) is their domain, and you'll never have to worry about coming home and finding a stranger lying in wait ;)

It's fairly typical of most mastiff breeds to tend to dislike other dogs; males especially seem to have more of this tendency, particularly in same-sex situations.
