Yesterday I sent an e-mail to a therapeutic horseback riding organization explaining I was interested in volunteering. Basically they need people that can groom/tack horses for lessons, shower them, clean tack, etc. I've been waiting for an opportunity to help with this for forever, and I'm hoping they will allow me to do it. I just think working with the handicapped and horses at the same time would be heaven for me.
I told them I would be 15 in September, and I'm hoping that's not too young. I've been riding horses since I was five, and I believe I could do everything they require.
I haven't gotten an e-mail back yet, and I'm so impatient!
