Hi,
I"m making an effort to fully come out of lurkdom. I really like this forum! Thought it might help if I shared some pictures of my dogs.
Cricket is a best guess Australian Shepherd/Corgi mix. She's the best little dog. We got her from a shelter and she was found as a stray. They had her as a year old but she's got arthritis and other old dog ailments/behaviors so we think she's probably closer to 7 or 8 now. She's the best and she came out of the box that way. She's sweet and wonderful and does whatever is asked of her, plus she's super cute. She is a certified therapy dog, has her CGC and her ASCA-RN title. We do rally and obedience together.
She has the best smile
This was our first competition together
Rio is my 2 year old border collie. Him and his 2 brothers were found on the side of the road so we don't know anything about his background, everything about him is border collie though. He was my first attempt at fostering, I'm a terrible foster parent. He is my heart dog. He is sweet, sensitive and just naughty enough to keep me on my toes. He is 2 years old and a really great dog. We are hoping to do agility together but we still have lots of training to do before we will be competing. We recently tried Dock Diving and he surprised me by loving it and doing well so we are planning on pursuing that a bit more. He had his first trial a few weekends ago and he did pretty awesome. We also dabble in herding when I can get out to the sheep/goats. Sometimes we play at obedience and rally but not often.
Last time we went herding. He loves working the goats, I wish we could do this more regularly because he is awesome and loves it.
I love this photo because he looks really happy, this was at our Dock competition.
He is pretty handsome I think
Thanks for looking! I take LOTS of photos of my dogs, so I'm sure there will be more!
