My dogs smell like cow poop

You should come here. I thought the cows were up by the house again but it was just the dogs. I don't like to bathe them TOO much either because I don't think it's good for their skin. So we will all suffer until I give in and bathe them. And then the next day they will go and roll in poop or whatever they do to get so stinky

ATLEAST it wasn't a rotten fish head. ICK. My two found one the other day and we had to drive all the way home with them smelling like that and I about puked. Then my mother in law wouldn't let them in the house for a bath, so I had to give them a cold water hose bath or deal with the smell for another hour and a half car ride home. ICK. needless to say they were not pleased, but I turned up the car heater as high as it went and blasted the thing so they dried very quckly and warmly anyway. Yucko. Why do they DO that? It's not the first time either.

You can't get it out! I shampooed and shampooed and it didn't help I don't think our ex landlord likes us anymore. Especially after the rabbit chewed up the carpet in the other room (it was stained carpet anyway). And a few other things :/ Oh well, he kept all of our deposit of course

Why do dogs do that, I really would like to know????? Yesterday on our walk Phoebe found a dead mouse that she rolled around in and it stank all the way home. She also adores to roll around in hedgehog poop which stinks to high heaven - obviously not to her though!
