For some reason he's acting strange. He keeps following everyone and going into the bathroom...his tail is down too but I don't understand what's wrong. When he went out for his walk he was fine and now he's being weird..any ideas?

I dont know what that is...

is he lethargic? will he play if engaged?

Banzai had a day like these awhile abck, it scared the crap outta me, but it just happened to be an off day for him and he was fine the next day or so...

If there aren't any alarming symptoms I wouldn't worry too much, but then again, you really haven't detailed too much about your dog...

right now he won't play all he wants to do is follow me around the house and lay down and right now he's shivering a bit.

Ok.. did anything out of the ordinary happen today? Is he eating like normal? How old is he? Does he have any health problems?

he's was so normal today it's just all of the sudden. He's eating fine, he was playing earlier, he was so happy and now like 10mins ago I noticed this change. He has no health problems..except some fleas but we're using capstar (vet recommended pills to kill fleas in 30mins) and frontline..and he's 5yrs old.

Then, I really would not worry too much. You know your dog best and if you feel it is serious enough, you should take him to the vet. Best of luck to you!

Sometimes animals tend to hang close to their owners during times like these ( holiday season ) because all that they know as normal routine is in upheaval so they become antsie and want your attention for reassurance that everything is ok. We don't mean to ignore them I am sure but with all the company and rushing around they can be overlooked and of course they will get out of sorts.
I am glad he is well now. Give him a little extra attention.

aww thank you both. I'm so happy he's back to normal that I went out to petco today and bought him a bag of 100 bones and a nice chewy toy. I'll make sure I don't ignore him lol then again how can I? That's my baby!! He's my number one :-D so I'll make sure he gets all the attention he needs.
