Me and Maddie moved back in back in... December or something like that. She is MY dog, Bailey is MY dog... I pay for, do everything for, and am solely responsible for them. Actually, we stay separated a big portion of the time (my room is separate from the main portion of the house, with its own bathroom and all that, so I spend a lot of time in here with them when we're not out training, playing, or running around).
But Missy is "mine" in every spiratual, emotional sense of the word.... but when I moved out, I was not permitted to take her. She is my Dad's dog. He has the 2 Shepherds, and Mom has little Phoebe. It is very much divided, here. We don't typically clean up after each other's dogs, or train them. Sometimes I train with theirs because its easier to live with a trained dog. But only when I feel like I need to. Of course, I train mine for fun (and exercise) I DO tend to do a lot of the grooming, feeding, nail trimming and general and taking care of, but I enjoy it (MOST of the time) and its what I'm good at, so I don't mind.
And Laur, I'm in the same boat... They aren't appreciating Bailey's "type" of dog very much right now Good thing she's my dog! lol
