I've given her pig ears, greenies, this other white denta chew thats supposed to take plaque off. I havent given him soup bones yet.

Basically, if it doesnt smell good he dont chew it. If it smells like kibble, he's not chewing it. He's a medium sized dog but his mouth is small and short.

Can anyone give me suggestions on what to give it? I want soup bones as my last resort. Maybe those raw hide sticks that look like long flat, rectangle beef jerky pieces?

The petshop told me "bully sticks" or hooves. i am almost 100% sure she wont put that stuff in her mouth. How are those hollow bones with filling in the middle?

its a good thing your dog wont eat rawhide and greenies they are very bad for them.

Bully sticks are the only thing that they should really be allowed to chew on besides raw bones.

I guess i'll go for raw bones since it will be cost effective. do i cook them or just feed them raw?

he'll place things in his mouth when i give it to him, walk a couple paces and just drop it on the ground and ignore it.

feed the bones raw, cooked bones can splinter or shatter, your also cooking out all of the good stuff. soup/marrow bones are the best. ive yet to meet a dog that doesnt LOVE raw bones! even my chis (who also arnt realy chewers) will spend hours removing every trace amount of meet and marrow off a small soup bone.
just make sure the bone is small enough that your dog wont get its jaw into the hole while going for the marrow, but big enough that puppy wont attempt to swallow it whole.

i gave her a raw rib bone was short and wide.
All he did was rip the meat off the bone, chew it a couple times for the meat to be off then left it on the ground. i guess she's not a chewer =(

You'd better listen to the advice of that pet shop..It's just a waste of money if you'd buy the same food that doesn't fit the appetite of your pet dog..You've got to choose something that your dog loevs to eat..

??? the only advice they gave me was "bullysticks" or hooves. I went to the store today and tested it.. he smells it then leaves it alone.
I guess i have to brush her teeth myself
