Brady does NOT like to be left in the backyard if Mr. Domingo is around for some reason. (Mr. Domingo is the orange cat we took in). I have seen Mr. Domingo with him, and yes, he is playful, but he is not mean, he is such a sweet cat and he just wants to rub on anything that moves to be loved on.

Brady threw a fit yesterday, and today about being left in the backyard. I made him stay out yesterday, but today, he knew I was in the office and he ran to that window (because it is lower than the ground so he can look down on me) and he was crying and yelping and stomping, and then when I went upstairs to leave, he was at the glass door, crying, and yelping and stomping, I am not kidding. He was throwing a fit.

So, I went out and made him go to the bathroom, and let him in, and he ran striaght for his crate and laid down. I don't crate him anymore now that he is older, but I keep it around because he likes to go in it as his safety zone, I guess. It is almost as if he was saying, I would rather you put me in this crate, than leave me in a beautiful fenced in backyard, with trees and grass, and fresh air with that orange cat. So I let him stay in today, he likes to lie on the bed and look out the window. And then he has HIS kitty to keep him company inside and he loves her, so he likes to be inside with her.

I know! So rough! He gets walks, peanut butter bones, all the love he can take, play dates with other dogs, hikes in the woods, good food, and how dare I think I would mistreat him even more and leave him in the backyard with that orange kitty!;)
