Could he have gotten into something without your knowing? Have you spoken with a vet? I wouldn't suggest giving your dog any kind of human medication without speaking to your vet first.

Max has that problem. We call him the Methane Militia :D

We use a combination of plain Yoghurt, with acidopholus and all that good bacteria stuff heh..

But the best thing of all to combine it with, is parsley

I grow it now in my garden, and all three of the pets get it chopped up in their dinner. It's good for other things too. It cleanses the kidneys etc.

It does work :)

Does the food that your feeding your pup have corn in it??

Sometimes Corn can do that do a dog, Riot has no corn or wheat products in his food and he used to have nasty farts, and you can barely smell them now!

i suggest maybe changing your dogs food.

trust me, before we changed food (feeding Innova now) mine could clear not only the room, but you wanted to get out of the house!!!!!!! LOL not everynight...just those times you just wanted to be all cozy on the bed, sipping hot tea, watching a little tv. then....WHAM. now, it's not a problem. :) :) be careful not to overfeed...that'll do it, too. if you change food, do it slowly.....otherwise you'll have 'the' problem still.

Parsley you say. Do you think I could grow that here in the desert? Probably have to buy it at a grocery store I guess.

Oh dear the desert lol..Parsley can grow in pots too very happily.

I just put mine in the garden, but pots or any container is fine.

but yep your fruit and vegie shop will have it

I would be cautious of giving your dog anything that is generally for humans (beano) You may want to change his food though and see if that helps. We switched one of our dogs to a new food (Nutro Max) and it seemed to help. Just make the transition slowly, mixing the food for a while with his old food for a while... just food for thought.

The only really funny thing about a dog having gas like that is the look on their face. It's like they know they did something wrong :)
