My dog has not pooped all day

My puppy is 7 months old and he has not pooped all day. Normally he goes about 5 times a days but today nothing. He seems to be eating and drinking fine and everything else seems normal. I'm just wondering if this is something to call the emergency vet about or can it wait until tomorrow?

normally 5 times a day? What are you feeding him? He may just be constipated. You can maybe try giving him a little canned pumpkin. I find that really good at helping to relieve constipation and helpful in diarrhea cases as well. Make sure it's the can that says 100% pure pumpkin and not the stuff that says pumpkin pie filling.

I would keep an eye on him and if he still doesn't look like he's seeing any improvement then I'd check in with a vet.

First I would call the vet to check it out but maybe fasting him will help. Dogs get constipated and that could be it- but I would call the vet to check. Skipping a meal might get things in motion.
