I went in for a doctor's appointment today. I've been having crotch pain, back pain and contractions for a week now but nothing extreme (other than the crotch pain, that hurts!). On their own I would've never requested an internal exam but all together and because I've dropped 5 pounds this week and my uterus hasn't grown in two I thought hey, might as well give me an internal exam. He was all casual like oh yeah, sure but by the sounds of it this isn't anything.
He got his hand up in there and went oh my goodness. Your baby's head is right there, you're dilating and I wouldn't be surprised if you came in here in active labor tonight. This was at 4:30. I didn't really believe him that'd it would happen that soon but I'm certainly contracting frequently now so who knows.
Anyways, fellow Chazzers, just giving you all the heads up. Baby bun may be here sooner than I had anticipated. If I don't go in tonight I have to go back in tomorrow for an ultrasound as my uterus hasn't grown in two weeks and is stil lat 34 week measurments, when I am nearly 39.
This was me at exactly 38 weeks. See, little. I had an ultrasound done at 36 and 5 though and they said he looks spot on so maybe Im just lucky and didnt get very big but have a healthy babe.
