my childhood dog

When my parents brought home our puppy, I was 14yrs old. He is a purebread lasha alpso (sp) he was about 5 months old I think. They rescued him from a family whos 5 yr old was beating on him . any how, he was the cutest fluffiest, softest, furball ever. anyone remember the Tribbles from star trek LOL, like those only black and white. Then when I was 19 I had my son. so my Max was my sons best friend, They played together, they took naps on the couch together. all pictures contain the 2 of them. years go by , more kids are born. when I take my younger dd over there now she loves to put the blanket on him to make him warm and comfy.
Now I am 33. my moms dog is heading down that last path. it is very sad. my mom loves this dog to no end. she quit her job to be with him now. He cant see, or hear. the vet says hes fine otherwise and in no pain. hes just about 20 yrs old.
I really want to do something special for my mom but I cant think of anything special enough......

Bless your mom and her little boy. He definitely has given a lot of love you her and your family. Does he like to go for rides in the car. Maybe you can take your mom and him for a ride to a special place, pick up some lunch and bring it home for all 3 of you to enjoy together.
