After her acd/beagle mix passed away at 16 earlier this year, my aunt decided to get a new dog, because Sammy had meant everything to her and she decided she needed another dog.

So she ended up with a one year old acd from the shelter up there. He hasn't had too much work done with him.. he was probably surrendered because he was too high energy. My aunt is doing work with him though, she has him signed up for doggy daycare, is doing basic obedience and intends on doing agility with him.

I'm just happy that Ozzy ended up with my aunt, I know he's going to be super loved and very well taken care of. :)

I have yet to meet him, as they live up in Toronto, but he's quite a handsome guy and she posted a couple pictures up on her facebook..

Aww, he's beautiful! I love ACDs especially as puppies! I met an ACD puppy the other day that was easily the CUTEST puppy I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot of cute puppies - lol!

haha, very cute. He's got a look on his face that says "Oh yeah, I lucked out!"
Haha yes, he definitely does. :) He's going to have a great life, because I know Sammy did. :) I'm hoping she brings him down with her when she comes up for labor day weekend so that I can meet him, I'm sure Cali would be thrilled to have someone to play with. (so long as he's able to tolerate her haha)

I just noticed a little update my aunt put on her facebook and thought it was kind of funny, besides the fact that she got hurt. She was out floating in the lake, and all of a sudden, Ozzy flung himself off the deck and landed on her.. slightly injuring her, but she saw the humour in it, haha. Sounds like he enjoys the water though. :) He also knows a couple tricks now. :)

Beautiful dog... ACDs are on the dogs I love, but probably will never own list for me. I had a friend that had two and they were amazing.

He's super handsome! :) I LOVE ACDs. We have one at the shelter I work at that looks like your mom's dog and he is the same age and SO darn sweet.
