its been a week since the earthquake, and still nothing. at this point both her daughters and the rest of the family has started to mourn her loss

her daughters are 20 and 15. her husband still wont leave the site, he sleeps in his car at nights and goes through rubble all day. they were that "perfect couple" still in love after so many years of marriage, kissing at breakfast and still holding hands in the car.

She was "that mom" she was so involved in everything. when I was in haiti, she really just took me in like one of her daughters, she loved me, laughed with us, and was truly a beautiful person. she wasn't even 50 years old

Her husband and family friends are continuing to search but the rescue crew has left. the dogs aren't smelling anything, and after 7 days with no food or water.. there isn't much hope. she was at her office on the first floor and it was a 5 story building.

Her youngest daughter is going to come to miami and stay at my house so she can finish school (her school in haiti is totally gone)

I dont know what to say to either of them. The whole family is torn up about all this

Many prayers for her husband and her daughters please. they need it

Oh, Fran. :( I'm so very sorry. My heart and my prayers go out to you and your family.

My cousin just arrived down in Haiti today with a mission group, and although I'm not sure exactly where they are or are planning to be, if there is anything I can do to send word to him on/about, don't hesitate to contact me.

Oh, Fran . . . . ((((((((HUGS))))))) It's good, as others have said, that you are there to be able to reach out to them and make it possible for your cousin to continue school.
