Hi I'm Desirai. I've recently brought home a new family member...a chocolate American Cocker Spaniel. He was only 6 weeks & 2 days when I got him. 
I know that was a couple weeks too early for him to leave his mother but if he hadn't come home with me it would have been someone esle. Not him! He was mine at 1st sight. The breeder had already started his potty training so that hasn't been a big problem...really I haven't experienced anything expect pure joy having him as another member of my clan. He is now 11 weeks and is a little ball of energy. I have him in Puppy Kindergarten @ Petsmart. We've only been to 1 class so far, but he seemed like he enjoyed it. I'm giving him Merrick's dry puppy food. I changed from Science Diet after I did my research. I just might change from Merrick because only one pet store sells it here in Virginia Beach, VA.
Anyhoo...I can be a bit long winded...typing & talking I look forward to learning alot from this forum.
