So I don't talk about my horse Delsin a whole lot. Pretty much because 5 years ago we sold our farm and my mom and I moved to a apartment in the city. We had to sell all our horses and rehome all our other animals. Thanks to divorce . I really did not want to sell Delsin I had had him since I was 8 and just couldn't let him go. So I called my cousin up in PA who had a small farm with lots of space. I asked him if I could possibly move Delsin up there and pay him fairly cheap board since my mom refused to down here. He said I could with the understanding that his daughter would be allowed to ride him. I agreed since Delsin was older and pretty sound despite having his occasional bad days and I knew my cousins daughter was a advanced rider for her age.

It may not seem too different from selling him. But atleast that way I knew when it was possible for me to move him back to Ohio I could no questions asked. So I went to PA as much as I could to visit family but also to see my big Black/brown Mustang boy lol. I was always greeted with nuzzles to my chest and happy chatter. Well about a year ago my cousin went through a divorce himself and his wife took his kids across the country which has pretty killed him inside.

He called me a couple weeks ago and told me that he is selling the farm to a family friend and is moving to be closer to his son and daughter. He then told me I would have to come up and get Delsin as soon as I could. So I asked my boss if it was at possible to take board out of my paycheck that way I could keep Delsin at their barn which is not even 20 minutes from my house now. He just told me not to even worry about it and we would work something out.

He even offered the use of one of his smaller trailers to bring him back. So in a week his daughter and I are going to drive up and get my old man lol. It would be a understatement to say im excited. I have missed not being able to ride him everyday or almost everyday. Im still cameraless but hopefully by this summer that will be all worked out and I will have pictures to share. I had some on my older computer but when it crashed I lost them all :(. But I promise pics eventually!!

And just because lol...This horse is obviously not him its just a general idea of his color. He is technically Brown but most people who look at him call him back but when the sun hits him he's very obviosuly dark chocolate brown as I have always called him.

Just imagine that color on a big winter shaggy mustang lmao.

You must work for a very generous boss, not all bosses have that big a heart. I'm really happy for the way things are turning out for you.

I really do. I worked for him since I was 14 and I have become a member of the family. Him and his family are truly special people.
