More new dog portraits

I have been busy lately doing portraits from photos to raise funds for our local Lab rescue. Here are a few of my recent portraits.

No I don't draw from a photo I actually edit the image from the photo and create the background. Then I work to enhance the image and work the edges with various paint tools to recreate the fur and whiskers when needed.
I use an old graphics program called Fauve Matisse that's no longer available. Adobe bought that company out and buried the program as it was in competition with Photo Shop.
