mixed breed- what you think my dog is?

hello,
this is Edgar, my lovely dog and i'm unsure about is origins...i was tell beagle.x cocker spaniel...but he is 50pounds!

what do you see in him?

umm... not sure but I dont see any cocker in him not really to sure about the beagle only the coloring a little bit but that is just my opinion. Kinda looks like there is some golden retriever in him !!

I also see Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever in him. His face makes me think he's mixed with possibly a golden retriever. He's very pretty!

Yes, i think there may have mongrel parents. I think about golden retriever too.
Is side profile make me think about hunting setter dogs...
i think he have scent hound, he like to smell trails, and he is really good to fetch and bring: retriever...! He have a really good temperament.
anyway, i'm quite sure is is not bred form 2 purebred parents (beagle x cocker!)
I dont know about this tolling dog, i'll make a seach...
