That may be cause everyone has an opinion, but not everyone has the answer to your specific question. Typically polls and questions that everyone can answer get to be big.
I have read some of your threads but if I don't have an answer there is no point for me to post.
I was just responding to you saying that giving advice and educating people doesn't always work, because it does work if solid advice is given without a huge amount of hooha, I personally learnt a lot from reading forums, not this one in particular but another one. I learnt the back yard breeding was a bad thing, and believe it or not I didn't know that before, if every one had gone off at me saying HOW THE BLEEP did you not know it was bad etc, I probably would have shut down and ignore them. It might be a sign of weak character, but I think it's a matter of also trying to protect ones self from harm, it's really a natural instinct. When my parents found out Roxy was pregnant, they didn't really care to fret about it because they didn't know it was a bad thing. I didn't know either, but eventually that pregnancy is what drove me to come out and look for more info, and if I was here, 2 years ago asking questions, I would probably have been flamed too. Luckily though, I did not post, and I did not get flamed and eventually I wanted more and more info. If I didn't come around, I probably would still be thinking BYB's were ok to buy from, yet now I am making an informed decision on a pups lineage and the status of it's parents Ch. status in whatever sport. 2 years ago I didn't even know about registered dogs...sad but true.
My point here is just because there a few examples of something not working, there may just be a lot more examples of said situation working, and working well.
