I can be next door, thinking about going for a walk, and whichever dog I'm thinking about taking is, by the time I get there, doing his or her uniquely individual IMAGOINGFERWALKS celebration. It's not their YOU'REBACK celebration (which really isn't a celebration, more of a *boutdamntime* sulk ) It's definitely IMAGOINGFERWALKS. Tallulah's even got a special Going Strutting aria. It starts before I get in the door. I can hear it coming across the yard.

They know. Without a word, without the leash, without me so much as glancing at the leash, without me even THERE, before I even get in the door. And they know which one of them is going.

I've kind of come to the conclusion that they're smarter than that, lol. Although they pretty much do, come to think on it, at least Kharma has always kept her world in a state that pleases her, except for that irritating little blue PITA

What's really funny is to see her remind my mom if she thinks Mom might be getting a little too cavalier about her. Like the other morning when Mom thought she was going to walk into my house . . . .
