I keep thinking of that rude eagle pack email I got defending Menu Foods and how a terrible thing happened to such a good company. Pfffffft.

Well I wish this were more public and people would stop buying their products. Maybe if they went into bankruptcy they will sit back and consider their actions that brought them there. Then again maybe not they will blame something other then themselves and their greed. Sheesh. I hope they crumble just like a bad bag of kibble,

Menu's representatives asked owners to sign releases which waived their right to get advice from a lawyer," Edelson said.
I hope to high heaven that no one fell for this trickery in there grieving states...............I understand covering your own hiney, it's wrong but it happens..............BUT THESE JERKS ARE OVER THE TOP!

before reading.. :yikes:

after reading.. holy cow. I'm not even sure I can say anything constructive about this that isn't an insult. And insults definitely count as constructive, right? I'm going to search for related articles after dinner...

Hmmmm. I have mixed feelings about this. When you call a company
and do a complaint its only common courtesy and professionalism
to respond to that customer. If a customer then indicates over
the holiday weekend they have representation I can see how
things could get confused.

I see a difference between someone calling to confirm receipt of a complaint
or such, or actually calling to defend the company. There is
really not enough factual information about this for me to lay
judgment.

Not that that matters, there is plenty of other things that Menu
Foods has done that show they do not care about pets or pet
owners. I lay my judgment with the contamination and lack
of quick notification.
